Federal Prosecution Targets Premier Medical
Federal prosecution targeted one lab in a six-lab network. The methodology in question — pooled COVID-19 testing — is the same methodology the CDC itself deployed nationally through the same eTrueNorth contractor pathway, as documented in MMWR Vol. 70, No. 49. Five of the six DMH labs were never subject to enforcement action. Four of those five also ran COVID testing.

Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Filed
Kevin S. Murdock filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy — a direct consequence of the federal prosecution terminating the operating businesses that constituted Diversified Medical Healthcare. A company that had $51M invested, 450 employees, and a Governor’s endorsement 36 months earlier was forced to wind down because the prosecution made continued operation untenable.
